JUNE 2008

U17 : 2008 MASSACHUSETTS STATE CHAMPIONS ! Congratulations to the U17 boys on their state championship win. The team defeated Western United in the semifinals, and went on to win against FC Stars 3-2 in the finals. Well done!

U11 : KC ANDRE CUP 2008 STATE CHAMPIONS ! Congratulations to the U11 boys on their KC Andre Cup state championship win. The team continued its winning streak with a big 5-0 win over Western United at the June 7 quarterfinals. On June 8, the team took down the New England Eagles 4-0 in the semifinals, and they sealed the deal with a 2-1 victory over FC Puma in the finals. Well done boys!

MAY 2008

U11 : May 31, the boys scored two big wins in the KC Andre Cup round-robin match at Progin Park. The team earned 7-0 and 2-0 victories over Inter Bandits and North Shore United, respectively. The boys ended the weekend with their third shutout win (3-0) over the Nor'eastern String. Next weekend, they advance to the quarterfinals against Western United. Good luck boys!

U16 : Congratulations to the U16s on an undefeated MAPLE season. The team moves into Division 1 next year. The boys also won their last State Cup Challenge game with a 5-1 win over the Stars of Massachusetts. Best of luck at State Cup boys!

U18 :Region 1 Premier League-Tied Juventus (MA) 1-1 and Beat Coastal (ME) 2-0. The Blazers U18's finish 2'nd in the Region 1 U-18 North Division and advance to the Premier League Playoffs in DE on May 10-11.
 
U17: Region 1 Premier League-Won 3-1 over East Meadow and won 2-0 over FC Westchester. U17's finish 1st in the Region 1 League U-17 North Division and advance to the Premier League Playoffs in DE.

U10: MAPLE (1) win (3-2 over FC Napoli). This was the U10s first game playing 11v11 in the U11 division. A great start for the little guys!

MARCH 2008

Blazers U17s Win Nomads Tournament

SAN DIEGO, CA. Congratulations to the Blazers U17 for winning the 2008 Nomads Tournament in San Diego, CA. Following a 4-0-1 record in divisional play and playoff rounds, the Blazers defeated Chivas Jr. USA (an MLS Development team) 5-0 in the finals to win the Tournament Championship. A dominant hard-earned accomplishment.....well done!

Blazers U16s Travel to Nomads Tournament

SAN DIEGO, CA. The U16's also traveled to the Nomads Tournament in CA to compete against some of the top teams in the country. While the U16's did not secure the championship as their U17 brothers had done earlier in the day, they recorded two ties and one defeat by working extremely hard and exhibiting the tenaciousness that is expected from our Blazers teams. Keep working hard and the results will come.

Blazers U18s Begin Region 1 League

The 89-90 Blazers began their Region 1 Premier League season by splitting their two games in New Jersey (a 3-1 win over Pittsgrove NJ and a 2-1 loss to Parsippany SC).
